I have known Charles nearly 10 years, though we had never met in person. He had said anytime I was going to be over at our facility in Ft. Meyers, let him know and he would drive down and we could do lunch. That never happened. He was a true friend through all the challenges I have faced at HEICO. I always knew I could start my day or end my day with a call to Charles and everything would seem "ok" after that. I could be totally honest with Charles, as I know he always was with me. We cut through the crap and got right to the heart of matters, something not common in today's world. You have to be politically correct, or say things just right, but not with Charles; he knew what I needed and went after it from that.

I will miss him greatly; the conversations, the sharing of recipes, the stories of his fishing trips and the talks of days gone by. I feel truly blessed to have had such a wonderful person be part of my life and touch me as he did. I am sure I am not alone in my feelings. Somewhere up above Charles is looking down upon us all and saying "enjoy life", that's what we're here for!

I will miss you and remember you always, my dear friend.
