I knew Charles professionally, but I found we had some interesting 'intersections' in our lives. Charles grew up near where I did in Northern Virginia. He attended the same intermediate school as where my father was employed at the time, so he actually had my father as a teacher.

Professionally, Charles was a great resource and a very caring guy. He was ethical and it always seemed clear from his behavior that he was 'in it for the long haul'. For years, Charles could be counted on to have the pulse of the Progress market and to be willing to take the time to share what he knew with you.

He will be missed.
